Training Seminars:
Our teams regularly provide clients with tailor-made training sessions based on ensuring legislative compliance or specific sector knowledge. For example, we can provide training on a variety of Personnel issues as well as providing training sessions on a range of Corporate issues. We have recently given a number of presentations to clients on HM Revenue & Customs’ Construction Industry Scheme and the issue of harassment and bullying in the workplace.
Recent Events at Bracher Rawlins LLP
Following the success of our charity pub quiz in May 2010, the firm hosted another pub quiz on 31 March 2011, this time in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Again, the evening proved to be a great success and a good time was had by all. Donations to the charity of £1,175 were made by our guests and that sum was matched by Bracher Rawlins LLP, bringing the total sum raised for the charity to £2,350.
We would like to thank all those who participated and kindly contributed to making the event such an enjoyable and worthwhile night out. We hope to see you next year.
Employment Workshop:
I am the firm’s managing partner and deal with all the commercial issues where this firm is the “client”. This gives a helpful insight as to how my own clients are likely to view particular situations.
The firm’s Employment Department gave a workshop on the topic of restrictive covenants on 4 March 2010, which was followed by a drinks reception. As well as providing practical tips on how best to protect a company’s confidential information, the workshop included an interactive case study, which proved popular with the audience.
